Yipes that’s a BEAST of a spider!

I used to see huge insects while growing up in Singapore, but there aren’t that many big insects here (I hope…) in Bejing. I’ll definitely see critters scurrying across the floor in my apartment when I turn on the light, but nothing that will make me wonder if it’ll eat me up if I get too close…

Australia’s weather sounds really sporadic! I thought that it was pretty much just sunny-days all the time (though; now that I think about it, that can’t make sense)- it’s funny what type of mental images we have about places we’ve never visited before.

Anyhow- I hope that wasn’t too random. I came across your blog as I was looking at some expat blog networks. I recently moved from the US to Beijing, and was just wondering what other people’s experiences were of living abroad!
