Didgeri DO buy this, 24 Jul 2009

Vicky Gray leaves no grey areas in this solid, practical and personal how-to book on how to emigrate to Australia. With her wicked sense of humour, a real knack for noticing things and her accessible writing style, this is the only book I’d buy if I had the good fortune to be under 45 and could move there myself. What I particularly love is the fact that it is packed with all the info you need but rather than become a dry old tome, its inclusion of Gray’s own anecodotes the facts come to life and the book is as much fun as a good novel.

Didgeridoos and Didgeridon’ts: A Brit’s Guide to Moving Your Life Down Under (Paperback), 10 Jul 2009

A great, real life, read with all those little pieces of info guide writers seem to forget. Defo one to put on the long list of things to read before boarding that plane.

If your off to Oz buy it.
£15 very well spent, even if you’ve been before!!!!!!!!!
Lots of tips and recommendations.
My dearly beloved Mrs could not put it down.

Informative and fun!

If like me you are thinking of living in Australia and applying for a visa then I certainly recommend this book. It’s fun and full of info and I loved in particular the last few pages full of other peoples experiences on moving to Oz. I can’t wait for the the author’s next book!

Humour and Useful Facts combined!

I read this book from cover to cover the day it arrived – I couldn’t put it down! We are preparing our move to OZ and this has been the most useful guide I have read. It explains everything you need to know in a fun way so it is easy to learn about everyday life there. Very inspiring- can’t wait to get there now!

An interesting and informative guide.

A really good book, a world away from the usual books that state endless facts on this subject. There is plenty of information – but also gives a really good feel for what it might actually be like to move to Australia.
